Diary of a festival "Australian Burlesque Festival 2014" Miss Satine

I just finished the Australian Burlesque Festival, which began June 5 and ended on June 28. I had the honor of presiding over the final two nights, in Canberra on the stage of The Abbey Nicholls, and on June 28 in the evening's most important festival gala closing in Sydney on The Big Tease!! It was a long journey from Italy in Canberra- 26 hours between n airports and the flights. I left summer behind for the Australian winter. I arrived in beautiful Canberra at 11:30 am. After checking in at the hotel, I headed to The Abbey. I was overwhelmed by the fabulous theater ...there was a huge ancient and majestic organ adjacent to the stage. The stage was a fabulous fit and a warm and welcoming environment. After the orientation, we all prepared ourselves in the dressing room, where we were welcomed with a generous and delicious buffet. Dawn Lindsay, the organizer of the event, did a great job. I shared the stage with fabulous names including two of my favorite artists Coco Lectric and Lada Red star (with whom I am now friends). The performance was very good, the audience was warm and welcoming, and after the show ended, I headed into the banquet hall to sell photos and sign autographs with some colleagues. The next day I left for Sydney, arriving at 12:30 pm. My hotel room was situated in the center of the city, just 800 meters from The Metro Theatre . The temperature was warmer than Canberra - about 21 degrees C. I left my coat at the hotel and I toured the city. I found it to be very livable and beautiful. At 6:30 pm, I went to the theater. It was really big and nice. The dressing rooms were comfortable, and there was an air of art to it. I felt excited to be part of this incredible show. I watched some performances before my shift - fantastic performances, incredible artists. The audience was very loud, and I was thrilled at the idea of going on that huge stage ... Before I made a final toast with Lada, I was invited on stage with my black "Swan Lake" costume. The public is always fascinated by the white swan ... but literally heats up with the arrival of the black swan. As I walked on stage, my skirt is opened and flew away sooner than expected .My necklace came off, my bra opened, my clothes and accessories abandoned me, but it didn’t matter. "The show must go on." The audience became excited and gave me a round of applause that made me forget the little hitch. Wow, I can relax I thought, get changed in a hurry and enjoy the last of my favorite shows! Coco and Lada were fantastic and exciting, and super sexy. I was satisfied and I changed. After the usual pleasantries, photos and greetings, I gave a brief interview to Australian TV. We had to leave the theater very quickly. I gathered my belongings, received my reward, greeted and thanked all present and with a smile left the theater. I took a taxi back to the hotel. The next day I flew out at 7:30 am. It was truly a "tour de force", and well worth it!
